This essay is about a person whose life was filled with hardships, struggles and challenges. It’s also about how he grew from these difficulties to become successful. My subject is the greatest fighter, boxer and legend. Muhammad Ali, a hero to me is someone who has achieved great goals, stood up for themselves and done things that are exceptional. Muhammad Ali fits my definition of a true hero. He was born on February 22, 1942, in Louisville. Muhammad Ali became popular as Cassius when he was awarded a gold Olympic medal. Muhammad Ali became famous after he shocked the world with his heavyweight championship victories. In his life, he has accomplished things that are extremely difficult to achieve. He is a real hero for his dedication and hardwork.
When he was 12, he didn’t have any intention of taking up boxing. However, after his bicycle was stolen by someone, his entire life was changed. Muhammad Ali’s conversion to Islam by the public in 1964 is one of most significant moments of his remarkable career. He shocked everyone again after he switched his name from Ali to Muhammad Ali.
But in war, the intention is to kill, kill, and continue killing innocent people. But the purpose of war is to kill. Kill. Kill. And continue to murder innocent people. He lost his boxing title, was barred from the sport and sentenced five years behind bars. Muhammad Ali, who was at this stage, chose peace and not violence. Muhammad Ali won his legal case after a five-year long battle. He fought with courage and compassion, and displayed bravery in his legal case.
Muhammad Ali, a man of courage and compassion who cared about the oppressed was a true hero. He spoke against segregation, which he saw as a tyranny. Muhammad Ali, who “Floated Like a Butterfly” with his compassion but “Stung Like a Bee” when he spoke against discrimination is the beautiful quote I’d like to end my speech. It’s true that he is not among us anymore, but we will never forget his bravery.
