The stereotypical views of society have led to a world where women feel compelled to conform to these toxic and unrealistic messages. We females are continually criticized on our appearance and the way we conduct ourselves to get accepted by society. Is this the only path to acceptance in this cruel world? Recent technological advances have undoubtedly made it more difficult for women to feel confident in their self-esteem over the past decade. The society teaches girls to value their appearance more than their true self. Why is it that depression is becoming more common in girls? The concept of Emrace is a key topic. This word defines personal identity as well as uniqueness. This word is not common in society. So society teaches us to respect these standards and that we will not be able to define what it means for a woman to be a woman. What happened with freedom and freedom? To be able to choose her own life.
It is possible that women are unable to manage their own lifestyles due to insecurity within society. Individuals slowly become more insecure. We have to live up to these high standards. Why must we all look the same? What would be the purpose of everyone striving for the exact same image? We must reject the notions and rules that society gives us. Instead of dwelling on the negative messages society sends us, we should put more effort into each other and praise them more. Females supporting females. This view is the key to society’s development. We don’t know how much we are being sucked into the society’s decisions. They limit diversity and accept individuality. Allow yourself to flourish. We were not made to be robots. Don’t allow society to dictate your path. Believe in yourself. You are the only person in the world. These absurd ordeals should not be a part of your life. Insecurities and depression are linked to the rise of social media. Instagram, Pinterest, among others have given us a great deal of freedom thanks to social media. Social media has made it difficult to set ideal beauty standards globally due to the increasing number of beauty bloggers online and the photoshopped models. Social media has led to a falsified body image and a culture that encourages self-starvation as a way of achieving a desirable physical appearance. Instead of being supportive and accepting one another, females judge their health in aesthetic terms. You must look good to feel good. This isn’t true. You may be surrounded by a healthy and fit body, but the truth is that you might not look like it. Marilyn Monroe, a timeless beauty, stated that “All the girls who think you are ugly because you don’t weigh 0, you’re beautiful.” It’s not society that is ugly,” this quote shed light on how society defines women today. We don’t need to hear about how beauty is determined by a person’s size in the 21st Century. Images of beautiful females are a constant reminder of how much girls feel overwhelmed. Hurts, heartbreak, and hate all make girls feel vulnerable. We can all fall for the Instagram world’s flawless models and unerring beauty.
As one would expect, society discourages women from focusing on their knowledge. The pursuit of knowledge is necessary to be successful. Famous women like Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai and Malala Arendt are examples of this. We should encourage others to discover a more interesting and complex path than that which is commonly expected. All people are welcome to learn regardless of their gender and personality. Stereotypes like the sexist belief that women are only suitable for one job, the Homemaker, can lead to stereotyping. This stereotype assumes that women only have to clean up after their children. Women are also focused on healthy eating habits. These and many other reasons are why we need to eliminate such incorrect perceptions.
I ask that you understand and discard these stereotypical ideas about humanity. For me, these rules have the potential to destroy our entire being. Slowly but surely. Instead of trying to achieve the same body, we should all put our trust in ourselves and create a life that is meaningful. Not tied to something that will bring no further virtues. If we continue to live with these empty and pessimistic thoughts, then we are all on the verge a collapse. We will never see a better humanity if we focus on these meaningless notions. It is time to do something, both for yourself and for all of us. Let me share a message with you: forget about society’s oppression and continue to create a version you love.
